About St. Cloud Craft Beer & CiderFest

What is Hard Cider?

Cider is a fermented alcoholic beverage made from the juice of apples. In the U.S., cider is commonly known as “hard cider”, while “cider” usually refers to a non-alcoholic, unfiltered apple juice known as apple cider with a distinct sweet-tart taste. The addition of sugar or extra fruit before a second fermentation increases the alcoholic content of the resulting beverage.

With Smith & Forge Hard Cider, those with a sensitivity to gluten may instead concentrate on fending off other health threats, like being trampled by their oxen.
